The Ribble Valley Music Festival is a major event with a reputation for high standards and value for money and offers a wide selection of music from over 300 performers including leading national and local artists plus aspiring young talent. Some productions include video, poetry, dance and drama organised in collaboration with other performing arts groups.
The Festival takes place from spring to late autumn at a number of landmark venues including churches and Whalley Abbey and has a unique and meaningful purpose of all proceeds being donated to these event venues of sacred buildings in order to sustain facilities for their core activities and to provide long term heritage benefits. Non of the proceeds are retained by the organising body or volunteers.
