Atelier Arts was originally set up by Beverley and Keith, they studied for their fine art degrees in Blackburn graduating in 2008. Both looking to explore their passion for creativity by relaxing and enjoying working on their practice in a studio environment.
More recently Keith has stepped away from Atelier Arts leaving Beverley to continue the good work they both set up.
Atelier Arts, is now a dynamic creative corner in the centre of Clitheroe. Atelier Arts principles are to inspire and to be inspired, to build a community of artists and to promote Art in the Ribble Valley.
This is exactly what we do!
Beverley has created a friendly fresh inspiring place to work and exhibit art work.
Beverley is passionate about promoting art and artists and building a network of people engaged with and developing their practice and friendships through art. Art can change lives, it can soothe the soul, bring people together and can help individuals to grow. Beverley loves the fact that she sees these things happening every time she steps through the door.
Not only is Atelier Arts a working environment but also a place to exhibit and sell work.
We now sell beautiful handmade jewellery and art cards.
All visitors are welcome to view the work we have on show.
The Studios and Gallery are a place where both professional and leisure artists can come together to learn from and to help each other. The studios are affordable spaces, right in the town centre. Beverley can offer creative and professional critique also advice, and opportunities to learn, all in a supportive, friendly and inspiring environment.
We as resident artists of Atelier Arts are inspired, not just by art, but by the growth and development we share with our colleagues.
